Description

Footgel Basket is a maximum-cushioning insole designed especially for basketball players. It absorbs the impact of jumps and landings, relieves load on the joints and improves comfort during play.

Scientific evidence

Footgel Basketball insoles are designed to absorb jumps and landings and to spread pressure better during sprints and changes of direction. Studies in basketball players show major increases in plantar load during these movements, which makes good cushioning capacity especially relevant.

Up to 90% more load in changes of direction

In 20 college basketball players, sprints and lay-ups produced increases of up to around 55% in plantar load compared with running. During 45° changes of direction, increases ranged from roughly 23% to 90% depending on the area of the foot.
