Description
Footgel Works Winter is specially designed for people who work long hours on their feet outdoors or in cold environments and need to keep their feet warm, comfortable and protected throughout the working day.
Its structure combines a top layer of 100% merino wool, high-density foam and Termocrep-Gel® 3R cushioning technology. This combination helps regulate temperature, control moisture and reduce the impact and fatigue caused by standing or walking for hours.
Benefits
- Protection from the cold: the merino wool helps keep a pleasant temperature inside the footwear during winter workdays.
- Pain relief and prevention: it reduces discomfort in feet, legs, back and kidneys caused by working long hours on your feet.
- Termocrep-Gel® 3R cushioning: it absorbs the impact of each step to protect feet and joints.
- Less tiredness at the end of the day: it reduces the overload built up in feet and legs so you reach the end of the day with less fatigue.
- Moisture regulation: the natural properties of merino wool help absorb moisture and keep feet drier and more comfortable.
- More comfort in work boots: it improves comfort inside safety boots and work footwear, which tend to be stiffer and colder in winter.
- Class I medical device: it supports comfort, protection and foot wellbeing throughout the workday.
- Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: it prevents the growth of bacteria for a fresher, more hygienic step.
- Long-lasting orange blossom scent: the gel contains orange blossom essence, which fights bad odours.

Scientific evidence
Footgel Works Winter insoles are designed to combine cushioning and thermal comfort during long working days in cold environments. Studies in workers show that soft materials can reduce pressure peaks under the foot, while merino wool helps maintain a greater feeling of comfort against moisture.
Less pressure during long days standing
In a study designed specifically for long working days on your feet, softer materials under the heel and forefoot were associated with lower pressures. The preferred insole showed 22% less overall peak pressure than the least favoured one.
